Interesting, did you disable the second core? Or am I confused?

both cores are enabled and at 4.7 if you run a i7 disable hyperthreading and run it on 4 cores and push core clocks with a safe voltage limit. It's super noticable with Maxwell GPU's in Valley

Okay, yes I agree. I have an i5 so no HT, but when I OC higher I can get big gains in valley, not so much with Heaven.

I know the amount of cores doesn't matter in the Unigine ones, I am running 4.6Ghz and have been for the last few years on various CPU's. It just amazes me how high a score you managed with a 290X regardless of CPU.

Looks like I'm taking the crown(I'm 2nd on valley, for now...). On my first run too.

Running 1560 core and 7710 on memory atm. I can push into the 1600's on core, but only when I freeze out my room(ALTHOUGH, if Nvidia would fix the voltage bug with SLI, I know I could easily go 1600+ stable). Max I can safely push is 1585, but 1560 is consistently stable. I can't get memory past around 7750 without crashes. Love how gigabyte bins their gpus for the G1 edition cards.

    R9 290 Crossfire
As i also posted on the valley thread. Crossfire does not work in windowed mode. Go fullscreen and your score will go up quite a bit. Your scores are very similar to people running a single 290. Hope this helps. Good luck benching!

Please run the extreme preset. I am looking into the crossfire issue. I can not post runs not at the extreme preset, but want to be fair so will need to look at this issue.

Maybe this still works, worth a try @RedOcktober
