Heaven Benchmark

Hi guy's. Unfortunately I was unable to get a FTW3 Ultra as for whatever reason EVGA decided to no longer stock it in their EU shop. It's been removed from the site altogether.

I decided to give the ROG Strix a go. I received it earlier and have just done a few runs on Heaven so far. I haven't maxed the GPU out yet and I haven't touched my CPU on it yet so that is still at default settings.
The GPU has Samsung memory thankfully.

Enjoy. Even though you can get better numbers on the FTW3, they are just synthetic benchmarks after all, doesn't make a difference in gaming or for a work station. What I like the most with this card (It's what I've in my build now) is I it's silent and I don't remember going over 55C when overclocked. It's huge though (thicccc) it sits like 2 CM away from my 360MM front mounted radiator in a Mid-ATX case (Crystal 460x) hehe. Also, that's a very personal subjective opinion but I think it looks better than the EVGA, even though I'm an EVGA fan as well.

Thanks Steve, of course it's all down to the silicone lottery as always as to how well it will overclock but with that it's how cool you can keep the sucker during the benchmarks to avoid the various throttle points. I agree, it seems to be running nice and cool. I had a window open in the lounge and the fans on 100% for that run but managed to keep the temp below 50c which was good. Looking forward to having a proper play with it but have to head to work shortly! Cheers.
