Worf, I never expected you to be a quitter and I have never believed this card could beat Nessie. But, I just didn't want to make it real easy for you either. So, just for good sportsmanship I'll throw this in as well.

How much does the CPU play within the Heaven benchmark?

Just read Steve's spec's ...did not know he has the same GPU that I'm getting..... New you were getting a new 1080 Ti, but didn't know it was the FTW3

Little to none, as I understand it. Most Unigine tests are pretty much GPU bound. As I have understand, the only way the CPU factors much, if any, is if the GPU is being held back by the CPU. Then Overclocking the CPU will help.

Back in the 780 days, I overclocked my 3770K to 5.3 and ran Heaven. I gained 2 points.
