The tubes are called Onyx Black. It's a deep deep black. Can't see through it. But I don't use anything in the loop. Just some pre-fill stuff, wash and drain, then just fill it with pure distilled water as much as possible so there's no air in the res. Water came out fine after a year, no growth of any kind.
