You forgot we had this conversation, but as a reminder I'm a huge gamer. And honestly if I wanted gaming effects, I could simply plug my headphones into my MB's soundcard which also features a DSP processor.

As a music buff though my Teac DAC and those Sennheiser HD700 phones are like magic to my ears

I've also got a pair of Audioengine A5+ powered speakers and Bass module connected to the DAC. It's an impressive system once you hear it.

BTW Gigabyte use to use Creative sound chips on their boards, but opted out after many sound and driver issue. Now they use an ESS Sabre chip (DAC). In fact both my Z170 and Z270 Gigabyte boards feature Creative chips.
Why don't you run a line out from the motherboard soundcard to the Teac DAC/Amp for gaming? It would be a stereo DSP signal. That's basically all the AE-5 is.

I do. The DAC has an input selector for either USB or Digital via optical cable to the soundcard. If I game, I might select digital, but for music digital sounds a bit harsh at times.

@Kol12 those are some nice bends. I like the tube or fluid choice, nice and subtle. Your's certainly looks like some art. I got some free time over the last few days to move my stuff to the R6 and if I had known it was this easy to get at the top portion would have swapped a long time ago. I really do think it's improved in every area they could have touched minus the excessive force required to get the top metal cover off the fan filter. Haven't even gotten time to turn it on yet but I like staring at it lol.

I still can't get any photos to upload hmm, I need to speak to a mod perhaps.

Its been awhile since I posted or upgraded my PC, but I decided to spice it up a bit and upgraded to 32GB 3200MHz RAM. Next upgrades are going to be custom black cables, 6TB HDD, and black water tubes. Next year I plan on moving to a RTX 2080Ti from EVGA.

Wow Thrash, those fins look tight.
Probably not a good idea to use any coloring dyes with it huh?

    Hi,
Mayhems has non staining dies but using copper why cover it clear fluid or distilled water and biocide and inhibitor additives

Plexi just gives a window to see if any build up of junk accumulates and pretty much tells when it's time to clean you'd be surprised with radiators many fittings how much crap can be in a loop

But yes supposed to be the finest cut fins out yet.

That is a nice setup Altae. Man that 750D is quite wide.

Thanks. Yes the case is indeed wide. But that's what I like about it. There is more than enough space for components, cooling is very good and it's really easy to work in the case while building/ upgrading the PC. Plus the case is somewhat unspectacular but still nice looking which I prefer over all those fancy gaming cases.
