It sure can but it's up to the seller to clarify and he said one thing and it wasn't true
He said he opened it which it was in a white generic box so tough to know what is in it and put it back in seeing it wasn't a x299 omega which he thought he bought.

Looks like a rma replacement personally I've never seen a board come in a white box unless there was a box in a box sort of thing maybe they just lost the outer box with all the pretty pictures...

But either way 300.us is better than 375.us and it works is about all I care about.
If I can't get the warranty transferred I'll have to look at return again and I guess flip a coin
Asus has already said warranty ends 8-17-2020 but transferring it to me is still up in the air.

There is always the bait and switch sellers too

I added one board in cart turns out it showed a different board in cart so get in a hurry and stuff happens.

Lots of buy and resell happening too but what do you expect on ebay
30 day return is all I cared about and ebay has better policy than amazon does when third party sellers are involved when Prime... isn't involved or sold and shipped amazon either.
