Thanks. This i7 is still plenty for my needs. :)
Ans yeah it's a tube amp.
The audio amp is just a generic amp. Nothing fancy. I just wanted a physical knob for volume control. PC audio goes through the amps, then to the speakers. The amp is also bluetooh capable, so I can use the same set of speakers for the TV behind me which is perfect because I'll just turn around and the speakers are behind me while watching TV or playing games. :)

    What tube amp?

And yeah any of my other i7 K systems (4770, 4790, 6700, 7700) would still be good, but the build bug always gets me

Ah nice, ever notice how all the good but priced fair dacs/daps, etc have crooked hi-res stickers? I'm waiting to finish my desk revamp before posting a pic of my stuff . But keyboards and audio is the thing I spend way too much on.

No cause I don't buy crooked stuff

I thought about buying a tube DAC. I was researching them when I came across the Teac. In the end I decided I didn't want heated tubs in the space I have. And it does what I need so I'm happy

Anyway I I'm not into lighting and gaming, but I do have a nice Logitech KB & mouse setup. And like you, I find I spend money on these things too

    What speakers?
