Thanks. I was trying to go pro but that hasn't happened (yet). Oh well.

Nice collection you have as well. I see you like the outdoors nature stuff. BTW Instagram would only let me go so far before nagging me on opening an account. I don't do social media so that's out.
Nice collection, hope you make it to pro. That Nikon 800E is a nice camera body. Wish I were not so invested in Canon glass, I always liked the color rendering in Nikon better.

For what it's worth, it was Canon that got me into photography with their Canon AE-1, a body I still have. In fact when I decided to get back into photography in 2000 it was Canon I was looking to, but the camera I wanted wasn't in my area so I happened upon a Nikon body I fell in love with - the Nikon F100 (film body, which I also still have, as well as my Nikon F5 film body). Thus how I got into Nikon this go around.

For me, I'm never going to dis Canon, cause that's who got me into photography.

And glad you like my work. Thanks.

    Really like your B&W images.
I started when I was a teen with some Russian made film SLR, then Pentax, but really fell out of it. Bought the first affordable digital SLR, Canon 10D and got hooked on nature photography when I got a 100-400L. Graduated up to a 500/4L, but have since sold that. Now have a good range of L zoom, and a few of the better prime (35L, 135L, and 400/5.6L) and a 1D3 (not used) and a 5D Mark IV. Trying to get back in and do something different, can't wait for winter to pass.

    Here is my collection: Hawkman

@Geneo, You got some nice work there, especially your bird shots. Really like this photo.

I'm currently suffering what I'd I call writer's block in the photography field as it's been a while since I did some serious shooting. In fact I don't even carry my gear like I used to. Hopefully this year will be different. I'm seriously thinking about upgrading to the D850 sometime this year but we'll see. My longest lens is an older Nikon tel AF 80-200 f2.8D and as well as the lighter AF-S 70-200 F4 version. My favorite Nikon lens is my old trusty AF-S 17-35 2.8D. I've also got the Sigma 35 ART 1.4 lens. That's the primary one I use to shoot my PC builds with. Also shot this with it...

I also print and my work for both sell and home use. I currently have an Epson 3380 Pro printer that prints up to 17 x 22 prints...

Anyway, you really have some nice work there.

I've not taken much photography this winter either. Looking forward to spring though

For me, it's not the Winter. It's just being inspired to shot something. In fact the area I live doesn't get much snow, if we perhaps that'd wake up my creative juices

With me it is computer stuff in the winter, photography and biking in the summer

I used to shoot eagles on the Mississippi river in winter, sometimes out all day from rise to sunset in sub-zero weather (I remember one where it was -20 most all day).
Then we got warm weather and no more eagle shooting. When the river froze up, thousands congregated around the dams, where there was open water and fishing.
Warm winters they spread out all over the countryside and not good shooting.

I'm envious, it's rather flat and featureless around here.

Pretty flat and dreary here in the midwest USA as well right now. BTW, I can't see only but a few of your photos because, believe it or not, I don't have an Instagram account. LOL, behind the times.
