Yes somebody told me Hardware Labs makes Corsair's new rads. Think I might go for one of those... Here is the 280mm:

How do you think the Corsair XR5 360 would compare to the EK PE 360? The PE 360 is slightly thicker with a slightly denser FPI.

Hi,
GTS 280 is fpi 16
Corsair 280 fpi 25
EK PE 360 fpi 19
Besides the stupid price of the ek and the already stated issues with ek rads in general I still say GTS 280 is better price and quality even though the ek is a little thicker but it also has a weird frame that makes it artificially thicker too so no telling how thick the actual rad core is in comparison to GTS.
The corsair one isn't really in the same league and even the SE has 22 fpi which is cooling fins per inch by the way.
Where did you get 25 FPI for the Corsair from? Same league as what? The Corsair XR5 280 is 16 FPI: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Catego...tab-tech-specs
According to xtreme rigs the Hardware Labs Nemesis GTS 360 performs better than the EK PE 360 and is slimmer. The Corsair XR5 360 apparently should be very much like the GTS 360 so both good choices over the PE 360 by the looks of it.
I mention the 360 rads because I'm considering a build with 360's but may do another 280 in my 450D until such time.
Hi,
I got the spec's from amazon since corsair website is a train wreck
But either way if you want to pay for corsair name go for it same goes for ek pay a little more for the name.
