I use the XE series. Rads and reservoirs are something you will use across many many builds. Get the best they have, it is well worth the money.
Those are the 60mm thick ones right? How much fan speed do you need to make those work well? My understanding is the thicker rads like that need more fan speed to perform...

    Hi,
Push/ pull usually is all it takes on thick rads
Push/ pull on thin rads are not needed.

When mine came one of those inlets was loose which made the frame move around but I figured it just needed tightening and once I wound my fittings in that tightened it. I didn't unscrew it right out to inspect the O ring but I have had no leaks from this radiator since installing it.

Yikes that bad. Well if I do get another EK rad I'll be sure to check on those. We don't have HW Labs rads in NZ but depending on shipping cost I can buy from Amazon or Performance PC's.

    Hi,
Assembly 101 is lubricate orings before tightening I don't believe ek does that and damaging half of them in the process
And as you say one was loose so you get to maybe damage that one.

Frankly I didn't even know they were removable I would of never bought if I did.
No need for 2 orings where there should only be one to worry about.

I agree they could have just welded the inlets as one piece, it is another potential leak spot. How do other rads do the inlets?

My fans are all temp controlled. I think 2400 rpm is the max. Most time they just spin at 1100 - 1250 rpms. For overclocking I just turn the controller off and they default to max rpm.
