Just thought I would show my 2nd PC I have aquired, I will be upgrading the CPU to an i7-6700K but not sure as what GPU to go for as do not need ray tracing so will not be paying for that premium.

Intel i5-6400 (4-Core 4-Thread) (cooler is Intel/Ryzen as the ryzen cooler fits the hole, then just melt welded the 2 together with a soldering iron)
Graphics are from CPU's APU (HD530)

1 X 8GB DDR4 2666Mhz Ram CL16 (Cosair)(another one has been sourced)
Asus 150mb/s WiFi Card
1TB Aorus Pcie 4.0 NVME (for max read/writes)(currently dual bootable for W10X64Pro & W11X64Pro)
Aerocool MX 600W Semi modular PSU
Front Panel USB & Jack Audio Ports
DVD Read/Write Optical Drive
Case is modded for dust free air to travel around the case (my signature air filter system)

I bought a bunch of those chokes on eBay. I'm not sure the proper use, but I know where the manufacture install them they are near the plugin. So you might want to do that... It's what I have done.

Off topic- Your $100 bill has an ink quill. What's the significance? I haven't had cold hard cash in hand in a long time since I use nothing but plastic, but I believe our $100 bill has something like that, I can't remember. The Treasury (or Secret Service operating under the Treasury) keeps changing the bill but it would signify the Declaration of Independence or Constitution. Most likely the Declaration of Independence. A declaration that says to the former king, F-off! LOL

Forgiveth my massive mess. Been meaning to clean it up. Specs. are below in the forum drop down. Nothing special. Thinking about going Zen 4 but last I looked there were only three or four MOBO vendors and the price was not within my appetite.

Nice thread, i had missed this one.

It is a lot of modern shiny computers in this thread.

So lets bring the past to the present to bring some Retro into the thread.

This is my main machine that I'm using on daily basis.
It is a Dell Dimension 3000.. Made in 2004....
The default OS was Windows XP.. than can be seen on the tiny blurry sticker in the bottom left.

It has the classic mid/late 00's fan control panel.

But it isn't a single core P4 with 256MB ram..
I did upgrade it some.... to an 8Gen Intel... So as my summer car... This is a sleeper.
