Nice run Paul ....I can't touch your new scores now. Your CPU kills mine.....congrats on finding one heck of a 9900k

It could very well be the heat Kol. Could you not get the GPU running any faster than 2085Mhz? It was lovely and cold here last night and my GPU maxed out at 41C during my runs on FS.
Holy crap, I think it might be the heat. No this Firestrike does not like more than +110 on the GPU with my card, I couldn't even hit the 2070Mhz that I can in games. The test only pulled 293W which is unusual, it should pull 370-380W. Average GPU clock speed was low. I got up to 63C. Hmmm maybe a magic reboot might help.

I am having similar issues I can't even beat my own scores anymore. My card runs fine at 2125 but I see it downclocking itself to 2070-2085 during benchmarks. Maybe I'm going too hard on the memory overclock (+1500)

That will teach me to not take notes of my settings on my best runs. Card is not overheating I think the highest I went to was 55C I usually sit in the high 40's.

This is to Kol and Steve. The cold certainly helps in maintaining the higher clock speed. Have you added any voltage to the GPU? In the cold mine will run 2145Mhz no problem in FS and in Heaven it will run 2160Mhz. Regarding the memory I can max the slider out at +2100 and it will run fine.

Yes I've everything Maxed out. Tried Asus GPU Tweak 2, EVGA Precision (My card hate that one), and the most friendly for my Strix is MSI AB. I'm working on voltage curves right now but when I do overclocking sessions it's usually at night with a little too much whiskey and A/C running to max.

Will get to it next week I'm going on vacations with the wifey this weekend.

I'm sure you will get it figured out. Often a drink can help anyway haha.

Have a great vacation with your Wife Steve

I just can't keep my card cool enough to get the performance I want! I really wonder if I have cooling issues with this card, room temperature makes no difference for me. This morning the room temperature was 18C and after waking the PC the GPU was at 22-23C. But in mere minutes the GPU heated up to 31C idle. In a room at 18-21C if I have just one fan spinning on the 2080 Ti it heats up to 40C+ across the board at idle. This doesn't seem right to me.

New Score is better for me today: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/35148216

Thanks Doug, I had a night off the benching last night to spend some time with Robyn. She has been a benchmark widow the 2 previous nights

That's not bad Kol and your GPU score is not massively off Mike and myself. I don't have the window open at the moment and have the side panel on my PC and my GPU is idling at 32C so I don't think you have anything to worry about really. When I did the benching it was cold, my GPU was idling around 18C.
