He couldn't get the FTW3 Ultra in England. The Strix is a very good card so was a no brainer as a second choice. Well at least that's what I read from his previous post. Same happened to me, couldn't find the EVGA where I am at the moment so settled on the Strix. My memory is an overclocking monster but I'm struggling a little on the GPU clocking. Will work on it when I get some time.
Check Steve's review about it on YT:
ASUS ROG Strix 2080 Ti VRM, PCB, Mod Bypasses to NV Limits - YouTube
His comment was:
Very impressive VRM from ASUS in this one. Find our tear-down of the card here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3w3_g20ECFM
Yeah I heard the Strix overclock's the Vram very well. This card is definitely up in the top bunch. I believe there are custom BIOS's readily available for that card too which is an advantage, right now the EVGA community are steaming that EVGA won't release a custom 400-450W BIOS to the public for their cards.
Hi Kol, yeah basically what Steve said, see here mate - Heaven Benchmark - Page 141 - Windows 10 Forums
@OldMike65 This took so much work you wouldn't believe! But I finally got you beat thank goodness! Hopefully you don't have one sandbagged this high!
