That's a mighty score Steve. Very nice!

So I am building a brand new rig tomorrow when the parts arrive but the GPU arrived today so I thought I would try it first in my old rig. The graphics score looks good. Obviously the CPU is low as to be expected and ruins the overall score. I expect it to be a lot better with the new parts.

Nice Paul. I think you will find the i7 a wee bit faster than the i5-6400. Especially once you learn how to overclock.

    Lol hopefully Steve.

Thanks Doug. Should be good fun. It's been a long time since I had a decent cpu. Couldn't overclock the old one at all which made things very boring.

I wonder if the latest kernel based cumulative update will start affecting these scores given reports of loss of performance of anywhere between 5-30%

I suspect there will be very little difference.

Your right, I just found time to run this test on my i7-6700k (no overclock) 980ti rig. In the past I got 15,000 - 15,200 and the test result I just got was 15,150 so it looks the cumulative update has had no effect

Nice Paul, that was a small increase, only 7000 points. But pretty good anyway.

Thanks Steve. I appear to be like 6000 points off your CPU score. Dare I ask what speed you were running it at?
