Dude; here's a Firestrike run with a bit of an OC (80/500) on the Asus 1080TI and the CPU at 4.8. The "typical" 2050 MHZ core result for the 1080TI oced. New Firestrike score 22529.

Don't think I will this time as our systems are almost the same when it comes to CPU and GPU performance.

Only chance I have is to address the Motherboard and/or RAM.

Motherboard: probably is unlikely to gain anything here unless I can achieve a better and more stable overclock.

RAM: could do with another 2 sticks of 8GB.

Would love to hear your thoughts Make (and all others)

Well Andrew, My ram is 3000 MHz 15-17-17-35-2T .... but sometimes I put her at 32000 MHz , but is not stable their at times.
I have not gone into the settings to change the timings thou. Plus you use software to OC your rig, I don't. I do all my changes from my bios only. Don't like using software, and don't care for most of ASUS's software much either. :)
