RAM Slots 3 and 4 Problems

    Decided to upgrade as all that was left is either a bent pin or bad slots

    So the problem wasn't fixed. I wouldn't mark it solved if it was my post. I have the exact same problem with my Asus motherboard and was hoping you found a fix for it. Other than my two memory chips only running in single channel mode the desktop runs fine.

    Have you checked the CPU for bent pins? Tried other memory modules?

    I didn't check the CPU for bent pins. The computer does work and I didn't want to take a chance of breaking something. I wouldn't have known about this problem if I hadn't tried to install more memory.

    Looks easy but there is one problem. Even with a magnifying glass there is no way my old eyes could focus in on something that small.

    Got a cell phone? Take a pic and blow it up, that's what I do for stuff I cant see.
