    combo start and DVD

I enclosed an attachment of the front of my tower.
While cleaning inside, I noticed that the DVD and start button seem to be in one bay almost as if they were a combination. I have not seen that before. Can you please explain the configuration? Is it one piece or two for example?
    TY

    Hi,
DVD is in it's own bay that button is to open the dvd tray not turn on the computer.
There is a blank bay below it with a cover
Both dvd and unused bay cover can be removed and or dvd can be moved to the lower blank cover

Top is it's own bay you can't move it easily.
So two but there is three bays total that I can see.

I see the glowing power button upper right.
I see the black lower right DVD button.
From an inside view there appears to be a bay for the DVD but I cannot see how the top piece( power button) could be removed. But as you pointed out, it maybe hard to remove. I am wondering if it can be removed at all if necessary?
From the inside it seems to be part of the DVD component in one bay. I was wondering if it was a design flaw or a new type of combo?
It appears that maybe the DVD can be removed from the tower as one would with any component but the top power might be a separate component that slides into the USB etc slots apart from the DVD.
Don't worry I will confront it if necessary.

    Hi,
    Couple different pieces
Front of the top is just a pretty cover just like the lowest unused pretty cover they just snaps in place clips are inside you have to take both sides off to see them.

Not many reasons to move or remove the top part unless you have to replace the power button or usb ports... but after removing the cover you'll likely see the screws holding the top part in place or with both sides removed.
If it isn't broken don't fix it
