    Hi,
Frankly I'd sell the 7900x as is they're still fairly desirable more so than 9900x because with delid they probably have more oc limit

Delid will flush your Intel 3 year warranty down the toilet

Here's an opened 7900x silicon lottery did for me it only lasted about 9 months before it went south and I had to redo it

After sell buy a soldered 9900x and know at least it will always have a 3 year warranty.

Thermal paste well application is probably more important than product noctua nt-h1 is cheap/ easy to get and performs within 1c of the expensive online thermal grizzly stuff.
Thermal grizzly krocrap is usually already dried in the tube lol :)

There's one youtube guy who recommends painting the paste which he's been doing for 27 years. I've always used the pea dot method.

I used that Silver stuff , can't remember the name but it is still working. I read on some tech site that it should be changed at least once a year..??

Yep, just get a 9900X and sell your 7900X, you`ll easily get $600 to $800 for it.

They are still asking $900 for a new 7900X.

    That`s my plan.
