    Upgrade question..

Ok so I think its time to upgrade my GPU.. Im currently running with 980 Ti and have noticed it dragging lately to keep up with my visual and performace requirements in gaming to the point that I downgraded from 1440p monitor to 1080p.. So Im looking at 2080 as i dont see the 2080ti price tag to improved performace over the 2080 to be good enough.. So my question is will the rest of my system also need to be upgraded as i dont want to bottleneck with the new GPU.. Im running a I7 5930K at 4.4 OC watercooled on a asus x99 deluxe 3.1 mobo with 16gb corsair memory.. I want to utilize my 1440p monitor again. I normally play WoW atm but do also play high demanding games but even seeing a improvment in wow at this point would be great....

I think a 2080 will give you what your looking for, great gaming at 1440p. I dont think the 5930K will be a bottleneck with it, lets see what others say

I agree. Your CPU should be fine with a 2080. A decent enough CPU right now.
