How to see which lanes is used to what HW?

As I mounted my 2. NVMe drive, my graphic card went down from x16 to x8 lanes.
But recording to the manual for my mobo (ASUS ROG Z370-H) the lanes to graphics and to m.2 ports are not shared?? So how do I find out which HW is taking up 1-8 lanes from the "graphic"-lanes? Is there a software that can show the current "lane-layout", so I can get an idea of what to move/disable/unmount to get my graphic up at x16 again?

    Hi,

You can use HWiNFO to check the Link width.

Yes, I know that, but in HWINFO my graphic-port is showing to use x8, but I can't see why it is not x16, so I have to have a tool showing the actual LANE-layout for all lanes. I want to know _why_ my main graphic is not running in x16

Maybe it`s because the 8700K has a maximum of 16 PCI Express lanes ?

Essenbe should be able to tell you why.

Can you post a screenshot of the Bus section from HWInfo, with all the PCI Bus and PCI Express Controller entries expanded?

According to the user manual for your motherboard there is a "Bus Interface" setting in the BIOS, have you checked yet if there is a PCIEX16 option available when you click on it?
