How to see which lanes is used to what HW?

    What did the backplate have to do with the card going into the slot properly ?

    Were the screws not flush or counter sunk on the backplate ?

    Please elaborate, I`m all intrigued

    Look at this picture. Where the 2 small blue sign are, I had to remove a little bit of the plate for the card to be mounted correct. That has not allways been like this, but I don't know when the cabinet has got this damage.

    It`s called a PCI slot cover, not a back plate a back plate goes on or is already on the back (ugly side) of the card when you buy it.

    Just some informative info, good job, glad you fixed it. That is a beautiful card
