    CPU Coolers


    Hello all, not sure if this is the right place to post this question, i have a unused cooler master hyper v evo 212,

    Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooling System: Amazon.co.uk: Computers Accessories


    and a used CNPS 10 Extreme coolers.

    Zalman Ultra Quiet CPU Cooler with Direct Touch Heat-Pipe Base CNPS10X Performa+: Amazon.co.uk: Computers Accessories

    I am having a hard time finding the AMD4 upgrade kit for the cooler master. you would think the upgrade kits would be readily available ?

    i was wondering if i could uses any of those coolers for my AMD4 M/B, i really dont want to buy a new cooler, and i am not fond of the cooler that came with the 2600,

    That one is standard AMD backplate and hook type CPU cooler holder that should come with your MB anyway. Although mounting holes are in different places, it can accommodate any cooler that comes with AM2 - AM3(+) processors which have same clips like your FX processor.. All aftermarket CPU coolers that do not clip same as standard coolers like that, need special adapters to fit AM4 socket.
    Size and cooler performance depend on which Ryzen you have.
    Around here, Cooler Master was giving away AM4 adapters for a while, just had to contact them but I think they are charging for them now.

    Hello and thanks for your Reply, i am using a Ryzen 2600 on a B450 Board i still am unable to find the AM4 upgrade bracket for either Zalman or cooler master , looks like i am going to have to buy a new CPU cooler
