Wish Asus could elaborate on "improved system performance". Gonna hunt down some info.
They always say that ...even if you loose performance . If your rig is running fine, why mess with it??

If you want the latest updates, no matter how it affects the speed of your system ....then install it.

    Hi,

Not sure a newer bios on ASUS boards actually kills performance but I did notice a slowdown on booting speed.
ASUS should include a changelog with their updates as do companies such as Fujitsu and no doubt many others.
At least you know what you're getting then, right ?

    Cheers,

The bios updates do not kill performance, but they do slow it down....

Why I am safe in the latest CSME tool when I haven't installed the latest (23/04/20) ME Firmware?

Are you using the latest CSME tool?: Version: 2.1.0.0 (Latest)
