Why do we need new chipset drivers to support the latest Windows 10 builds?

I don't think it has anything to do with Window 10 builds. More for security upgrades for your bios.
I don't install these latest updates myself, unless I am having a bios issue. I find 99% of the time they slow your computer down when overclocking. But its just my opinion, so if you always want the latest updates for your bios, then go fer it.

    Hi Mike,

It actually says "Support 19H1/19H2" for the chipset driver. Doesn't 19H1/19H2 refer to the latest Win 10 builds?

People are running the latest Windows 10 on some very old computers. During the install of Windows 10 it will install the needed drivers for that pc. I am not a windows insider, but my rig is still newer than a lot of these insiders, and the are running a lot newer beta releases of Windows 10 without any problems on there older computers right now.

I would not get too carried away with all this hype about these new chipsets being released right now. Old saying ..."if it ain't broke don't fix it"
