MSI Z270 SLI Plus for now. I'm going to order a used Maximus IX for the 6700K next week.

Just about to upgrade my GPU from Asus GTX 960 to Zotac GTX 1660Ti AMP! Edition.

It's on its way from Amazon. Sadly, we don't have Newegg here.

Well, I brought my offset from +0.185 down to +0.175 but the voltage stayed relatively the same, so I tried changing LLC from 6 to 7 but the voltage spike went up to 1.32 when the load changed.

So I tried LLC 5, and now at idle it's 1.200 under load 1.168 to 1.200, and when the load changes it spikes to 1.216(where the last offset of +0185 was).

After all my benching the results, nothing higher than 70°C:

    Tomorrow I'll run a prolonged P95 custom in place 1344 x 1344.
I might try to fine tune the LLC so the voltage jumps around a little less(stabilize the voltage more), but I find 1.200V low enough for now.

Thanks Toni, hat's what I'm hoping for(that it stays cool & quiet in the summer, that I can keep my OC without the fans driving me nuts)

Nice Pillian! Well from what I understand (I haven't used Newegg but a good friend had a bad experience with them and got totally screwed out of a CPU) Amazon is by far the better company to order PC stuff from. Their returns policy is outstanding. Have fun when it arrives!

I cheated. Instead of doing what you are doing I just bought an air con unit which was delivered today. Both myself and my PC are all set for the summer now

That would be me. I would pay more at Amazon for the same thing I could get cheaper at Newegg. I not only lost a CPU but also $350 too.

Count me in for Amazon and a out for Newegg. Newegg didn't cost me money but I did get a headache on a faulty GPU return.

Amazon's return policy simple and easy

I did say a good friend so you know it was you. They were very nasty about that! I don't quite know how they managed to get away with it! But water under the bridge now and lesson learned hey. Amazon are simply the best for returns and I agree I would happily pay more at Amazon just for the peace of mind
