Thank you Gentlemen ,I do plan on stepping up maybe in a year

Intel and AMD are just pumping chips out at insane speeds making it hard to choose these days

Especially when you have a chip that is not even remotely dated

So I bought this NAS bay the other day for both backup and media server being it supports Plex....

Dropped in 4 Western Digital 6TB Red Pro drives and RAID 10 them. Now I've got a media server and external backup solution. Now I can access and play my media files on any device anywhere and not need storage to hold the files.

And I also decided to purchase a cloud plan in Carbonite. Now I never have to worry about backups and Carbonite is automatic and continuous

Nice. A month or so ago I got a Synology DS918+.

So far just Macrium backups from four different devices.

I started to go with the Synology DS918+ but went WD instead. Read some nice reviews on both units btw.

Anyway I forgot to mention I also upgraded the RAM from 4 to 16 gig. So far things are running fast and smooth.

I made a batch script to check for WHEA errors when running Cinebench to test a lower set Vcore.

    Usage instructions:
    - Place the script in the root folder of the Cinebench.exe.
    - When opening the script it will automatically also open Cinebench.
    - Then manually run the Cinebench multi core CPU test. The script will continue to run in the background, if WHEA error logs are detected the script will automatically close Cinebench.
