Very similar to mine Doug. Hard to beat B-Die from Samsung for O/C as well.

With only two sticks I would think 4000 -4200 Mh maybe within reach.

Here are the settings I have mine running at 4000, I am using 4 8Gb sticks. Not exactly the same ram as you but close.

Thanks guys, Im looking forward to it. @doorules My MB support page says up to 3866 with 4 dimms so not sure if I can go that high. Where can I get that Asrock timing configurator. I googled it and found for x299 and such, didnt see any Z270

    Hi,
Look at all asrock z270 boards one will likely have it for bios/ utility downloads.

3600C15 is supposed to be very good.

Might not matter just try the x299 version :/

    Hi,
I don't believe anyone uses it to actually change timings
It's just an easy item to use to see all the timings in the os and get screen shots of what timings are being used...

Yeah, I think I remember finding it drilling down in the BIOS

Okay @sygnus21 I went through your "checklist", thanks for bringing them up, so I could do some research.

Thanks. And yeah, the OC cable is ridiculously short (only 6 inches)….

No idea what Gigabyte was thinking there. Also, who wants to hold that thing in their hands with voltages running through it since there's no place on the board to set it

Anyway I've not used it since I've no need for it. It feels like a gimmick item to me.

Decided to make up for my mistake of not getting B-die ram, just ordered these

Very nice Doug. I have 3600Mhz Trident Z but the timings are nowhere near as good. Should be an amazing kit. Congrats mate
