Yep, that's 225W @ base clock. It's probably 400-600W on all core turbo.

Even an connected AIO would catch fire

What does the 9900K consume at max load? 300W?

Correction: 180W at full load. After overclocking it's closer to 300W.

It all depends on how many volts you use, I had 5.3GHz running at 1.376 stable max temps low 80's
And 5.0GHz at 1.152v max temps low 60's(stable for benchmarks, but would occasionally BSOD at idle, (go figure)
