I'm planning to do a new build for main machine and then transplant it's old components in to second machine.

At the moment I'm thinking of Scythe Mugen 5 although I'm open to suggestions. Old machine has the original Corsair H100i on it and it's getting old.
Is it going to be a new motherboard + CPU? What CPU? Anything else? Which is your main machine? I would suggest the Corsair H115i Pro AIO for cooling. It will have more cooling power than the H100i and they're solid coolers. If your into RGB lighting Corsair have a great system.

The components from system 1 are going to system 2, System 1 will be an entirely new build based on Corsair components so I get everything controlled by iCue.

Trouble is that sharkoon case isn't really geared for AIOs.

That sounds nice! What's your parts list? I have a lot of Corsair gear and the iCUE system is fantastic. The lighting customization is highly advanced and blows others out of the water.

I'll be honest, I don't like that Sharkoon case and I think you can get something much better. If your going with Corsair components you could consider a Corsair case as some come with RGB fans pre-installed. Also Corsair cases are very good! The 500D is the newer model of my 450D. I think it's nice, roomy and good airflow.

See if any other Corsair cases take your fancy:

I forgot to mention the Corsair 680X. I think you would be very happy with that case. It is a high end case with a lot of cooling and configuration options. And look at the storage capacity! My buddy owns the older Air 740 an he loves it to bits, he swears by it.

Your parts list is very nice, I'm jealous. The only things I would change are: The H100i to a H115i because that 9900K will need beefy cooling. Secondly perhaps go for a 1000W Titanium PSU over the 850 gold. You need to be careful with the Corsair Platinum AIO coolers as the Platinum's have had a bit of trouble. You should check the Corsair forums for info but I will try to find out for you too. Overall a super nice looking build.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Already got the H100, it's the newer SE version and I already bought the PSU. I am aware that a batch had leakage problems, mine is not part of that batch number.

Ok. Yes I heard about the leakage issue with that cooler and it affecting a certain batch. The other reported issues are lighting issues and the cooler disconnecting from the iCUE software but I don't know if this is with the H100i Platinum, it might be the other Platinum's. Do you use Corsair iCUE already?

So with the Corsair 680X and the parts you've chosen with white accents I think your going to have a smart looking build. I wish you the best of luck with it and if you need any more help just shout out! P.S. Don't forget pics when your done!

All my fans are Corsair ....and controlled by iCUE ....which takes up 550MB of space.
