Modding my Corsair fans to reduce the fan blades to frame gap. I got the idea from the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM
I'm using copper foil that I cut into smaller pieces to line the inside of the fan frame.

    Hi,
    Steam punk is cool

You could of used long strips if you had them copper bends really easily and only technically 2 seams instead of well I lost count

I just wonder what happens to the magnetic field if one uses the Corsair ML maglev fans

Nothing, it has to be contained within bearing or it wouldn't work.

The frame circle is not perfectly round and by using the smaller cut pieces it is easier to build up layers to compensate for the differences.

No interference at all, only less noise when the fans are spinning at max RPM.

Oh my, in stock, grab one while you can

    EVGA - Products - EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, 11G-P4-2487-KR, 11GB GDDR6, iCX2 & RGB LED - 11G-P4-2487-KR

A bit strange, EVGA now lists 2 2080 Ti FTW3 cards.

Not sure which card has always been listed, the Gaming or the Ultra Gaming but I believe it`s the Ultra Gaming model.

I didn't actually realize there were FTW3 non Ultra's. The Ultra is spec'd up even further. Was the 2080 TI FTW3 Ultra only listed recently?

Ya one is labeled Gaming and the other is labeled Ultra Gaming, and the boost is higher on the Ultra Gaming.

    1545 vs 1755

OldMike65 would know for sure, he got his about 3 weeks ago and he lists the Ultra Gaming model in his specs.

In the last couple years, companies have been adding the words Pro and Gaming to a lot of their products.
