Have you tried the XOC bios? I think there are few over on OCN running it with some decent results.
Where do get this BIOS? What's the power limit on it?

Scroll way down for download of KPE bios and XOC bios. No power limit, it has been removed for XOC

My SAMSUNG SSD EVO 850 500GB keeps throwing write errors with Steam game installs. Weird because it passes all HD test and says its healthy. I used google-fu and tried all the fixes to no avail. Wont hurt to have more storage space too with the size of games these days

Good job. You'll like the extra storage. You can buy more games now.

Thanks Steve, that is a good thing. The hard drive has me baffled with the errors

Nice Dude. Unfortunately I have no more SSD room in my case, but I do have two free M.2 slots so that's what I'm aiming for.

One doesn't need room for an SSD Kol, just wedge the sucker out back in the mix of wires! Don't matter if it's mounted or not, just chuck it in lol.

Thanks Paul, yeah sliding them in the back is easier. I used the caddie from my HD tray...spent 30 minutes looking for the little mounting screw I dropped

SSD seems to perform as expected...been loading it up with games today

I really don't have any room left at the back of my 450D, I'll dig up a pic if I can find one.
