I now have 3 weeks vacation

What I plan to work on is: setting all my voltages down to where the system is just as stable as it now is, but less volts, so I won't have to reduce my 5 GHz to 4.8 in the summer; because of temps(the delta over hot summer ambient), and my system will run quieter in the summer too.

I played around, before, to see how low I cold go with only reducing Vcore as far as possible, and still pass Cinebench and run Blender classroom without crashing.
The problem was, when the system idled, it would BSOD because of the low voltage and my using Balanced power plan.
This time I'm going to take that into account.

I will also try down/under-volting my RAM's XMP voltage, so the memory controller in the CPU will also use less power

Maybe rewatch some of Buildzoids videos to refresh on what some of the other voltages do, or how they effect clocking stability.

I have found that to reduce voltage(hence heat generated) on my Maximus X Hero, I need to use the offset method, and make sure all Spread Spectrum stuff is turned off(VRM, PCIe, and CPU) for voltage stability.

Using offset I've been running my 5 GHz at 1.246v for the last 2 weeks with absolutely no freezes or crashing.

Even ran IntelBurnTest and GPU-Z's Render Test at the same time, while browsing on the Insider Edge for about 15 minutes, a little bit longer after all my cooling was saturated(GPU and CPU)

Nice work Cliff, your 9900k always runs using less voltage than mine, plus yours OC's much higher than mine too. But I just did not win the CPU lottery like some other folks. But my GPU makes up for my poor CPU in lots of places.
