Are you 9900K guy's kicking yourself for not waiting on the 9900KF? There was no prior indication it was coming I suppose.

Edit: Are you guy's disabling your iGPU's?

"Remember that the iGPU in the 9900K continues to draw power even if you use a discrete graphics card unless it is explicitly disabled in the BIOS"
Who the hell turns it on?(other than some security software might use it instead of the main CPU)

...like power draw matters on a 9900k? It's a heater no matter what you do.
    Only for the unlucky ones

A little side note on anyone that might change their regular 9900k to a 9900kf. It requires a bios update before you run Windows otherwise it will crash. The bios update can be done without needing an older CPU so you won't need to worry about that but it must be done before entering Windows.

Why would you want that CPU Shawn?
Here's the compare list to the 9900K: Intel® Product Specification Comparison
In short, the KF version loses

OK vPro and SIPP are not for the normal consumer, but Trusted Execution is important to security

Pretty neat, and can be useful since most folks don't use the integrated graphics with a desktop.

For a home computer i would take the newer chip if buying now. Seems like on average it is a better OCer from what I have read.
I think unless there is a chance someone can get physical control over your system not too much to worry about for a home system.
