I will not lie, I`ve already told them the box is still sealed.
But I got a case #, so we`re at least getting somewhere.

Hi,
Maybe honesty will work out
So far, the only thing Intel will do is replace it if it dies, as I expected they would say.
But he/she asked me to give them more time, so holding on here
Hi,
Intel has no stock a few have reported they give refunds instead if they don't have stock.
Let`s hope I never have to find out
My only option now, If I really really wanted a 10900X, would be to sell the 9900X and my 7900X and purchase a 10900X or higher. (that would be the smartest move)
But after looking at the reviews and benchmarks I could actually find, buying a 10900X seemed pointless. So the 9900X went back in the drawer until I get the urge to install it, and maybe put the Thermaltake 280 AIO in there too.
Hi,
7900x is probably a better chip delidded
It's a high binned 78..x series chip.
But either way now you'd have to contend with Intel's new pricing with both 79-9900x which got cut in half
Good you got a discount on the 9900x.
There are places still asking $1,000 for a 7900X and the 9900X too, not Newegg, but they are trying to sell them through Newegg.
