Hey I Did it by accident. I know it's not in the description but a novice builder could easily be confused

    Hi,
I rarely bother with the overview since it's often as in this case wrong and misleading = good argument for the credit card company for refund for false advertising :)

Spec's are the best place to get info and title of product not to mention final is QVL
A board doesn't really have to be listed but at least one AMD board should for just 50-50% chance the set will post
No amd board on the qvl odds are not good.

Sounds like it's time to remove everything from the case and test the MOBO and other components. Starting to sound like the MOBO is possibly shorting to the case. If you don't have a "build board" a large piece of cardboard or unfinished plywood can be used.

So i took it all out and put it back together and tested it a couple of times and it still does the same.

Are you saying you tested the MOBO when it was Out of the case ? In this video you'll see him test the components by powering up everything outside the case How to Build a PC - Part 1 - Newegg TV - YouTube Before I retired I'd usually go farther and install and run the OS before installing everything in the case. I'm really not sure if by installing the wrong RAM other components could have been damaged ?
