    Can't enable Modern Standby

Does anyone know how to enable Modern Standby on the Maximus XI motherboards?

They use the Z390 chipset that is suppose to allow Modern Standby on a Windows 10 desktop, but I'll be darn if I can figure out how to enable it.

    I still get this:

I don't if this is relevant, but the page on "Modern Standy" says "You cannot switch between S3 and Modern Standby by changing a setting in the BIOS. Switching the power model is not supported in Windows without a complete OS re-install"

Totally different box and MB, get same/similar. Don't think I've ever been able to get S0.

    (I have hiberfile.sys disabled)

I wasn't sure if the info there was still relevant or not either with it being over a year old, but I clean installed Windows 10 anyway to test. Same results though.

    Hi,
Might need to see what options @doorules shows in bios against yours for c states.... and if anything else is shown if enabled.

This is what I could find in the UEFI firmware settings that seem related.

Here's the options for "Restore AC Power Loss".

Both "Power On By PCI-E" and "Power On By RTC" just have Enabled or Disabled as options.
