I disabled c-states on laptop. Any 8 series chip or later is capable of this according to intel. But mobo oem's may have many features on the mobo which wont let it run. Intel has no control over this
    Hi,
Any different options on your lappy ?

There is, but I don't think it would enable/disable Modern Standby. I'll give it a play with though.

True, but Asus supposedly touted that as a new option on the Z390. They just forgot to tell how to do it.

I would have thought it been set/enabled to support it by default, but guess not.
