Can't enable Modern Standby

    Hmmm,

    This has to be related to the 24 pin connector to the motherboard.

    Make sure your power supply has the correct wire going to the 24 pin connector on the motherboard. Its pin 17 and the purple wire. This is +5v Standby and controlling feed and ATX version 2.0

    At this stage, to me it looks like Modern Standby still hasn't matured yet. There have been numerous reports online from laptop users saying their laptop ran scaldingly hot inside their storage bag going from the battery fully charged upon closing the lid to it being half depleted so, to be frank, it just isn't worth the risk. With Modern Standby there is no Power Management tab in Device Manager so no "Allow this device to wake the computer" that you can uncheck. SleepStudy is exactly that: an ongoing study the sole pupose of which is to put the user to sleep from final exhaustion. Waking up from S3 is still much faster than waking from hibernate or booting up. So then, please wake me up when someone found a working solution.
