Newegg only has 1 2080 TI for sale and it isn't EVGA, Asus, MSI or Gigabyte. Nobody has stock right now. Which also make you have to ask about all the 'Little Chickens' on You Tube who are saying these cards are a flop because nobody is buying them.

    Hi,
On another note moderators deny it but my question on oc.net was edited
They changed the title and removed all images of silicon lottery's work we uncovered

I was told I can reupload the images they were probably lost due to image swapping servers = yeah many others were unaffected uploaded at the same time/ day... said okay but what about the title changing
    Thread was originally
Too much adhesive used on delided chips

    Changed to
    adhesive used on delided chips

I said even a caveman like myself would use a capital letter on a questions title

Nvidia admit issues, 2080 Ti FE de-listed from their web store although they claim stock issues.

I take it this is just a Ti issue ?

EVGA had Ti FTW3 stock again today, hopefully that`s a good sign, we`ll have to wait and see if there are issues with them.

Just too soon to get something that may explode.

@AddRAM it is just a Ti issue, more so the FE card but some board partners affected also. I don't know what it is exactly as there is a lot of gossip around. It could be some faulty parts have be used. Nvidia admitted "test escapes" from early boards. Nvidia Admits RTX 2080 Ti Cards Dying Due to Quality Assurance Issue | Digital Trends

Does the 2080 Ti FTW3 use a custom PCB design?

Not sure, I thought maybe nvidia just shipped them the board and they just put their coolers on them and then maybe Bin them to come up with these different versions. I may have that backwards, but you see what I mean

On another subject, I`m wondering why nvidia has been out of 1080 Ti`s for so long, yet they`ve had 1080 stock pretty much all along, and even the CEO said the 1080 Ti would not be a one time run off, but would be a regularly in stock item.

I would think it would be because of the 2080 release, but the 1080 Ti at nvidia has been out of stock for quite some time, well before the release of the 2080, but then again only nvidia would know they`re about to release a new product line.

And another strange thing we may have already talked about, why the release of the 2080 and the 2080 Ti at the same time, the Ti has always come along roughly 6 months later.

But I suppose it may not matter, as people are gonna spend what the want to get what they want
