No, the honeycomb is on the shrowd, the heatsink is just like any other, maybe better, a lot better but still just a heatsink.

I would think by the looks of it the heatsink on the EVGA 2080 Ti is even better.

But as Mike said, that cards needs a water block to be used properly.

Hi,
If I were ordering something like a king pin which comes with configuration options
It wouldn't have a air cooler I'd go for a evga installed hydro copper water block
Why waste money on a air cooler which I believe is all copper from the last I saw of the 1080ti kp

About the only reason nvidia stuck with the blower design for so long because they knew most people install water blocks/ hybrid kits to cool it.
Nice to see nvidia finally dumping blower design though lol it was a sad joke cooling wise

Apparently these two programs are associated/installed with Asus Aura, I wondered what the heck they were. There doesn't seem to be any separate program that runs with them.

Patriot viper and other brand name ones(like Corsair) are 3rd party(non ASUS) products you can sync with AURA.
