There tech people are pretty good too....
Most of the time. They are the same guy's that have been there a while and seem to know there stuff. I had my 1080 Ti FTW3 replaced a while back and received a brand new retail box 1080 Ti FTW3 as the replacement. That is luck of the draw I believe though as it can be either refurbished or brand new. They also offer cross shipping where the replacement card gets sent to you first. I believe they are the best to deal with for warranty.

EVGA support has always been great. It is what keeps them going imho.

Someone else who has great support is nvidia themselves. I ran into an issue with one of my Titans a year ago and it was very surprising to me how fast they resolved the issue. Just send it back and they sent a brand new one out. I told them what I had done to try and remedy the situation. They were satisfied with that and new one on the way.

I've used EVGA support a couple of times and always received excellent support. They are probably the smallest of the board partners and, I think, the only US based one. I've never used Nvidia support before.

Interesting talk I had with an EVGA tech a few days ago, was asking him some questions after I 1st got my 2080Ti card, and I menioned that my old 1080Ti card had all the rear ports covered with dust covers. Told him you would think when Evga asks over 1400 dollars for this Top of the Line card, they would at least cover all the ports with dust covers, as it comes with none, all the ports are open to dust and smoke or whatever....Well.....he agreed with me, told me he would look into it. I recieved in the mail yesterday from EVGA a small bag with all the dust covers for all the different sized ports on the back of this card !!! Took them about 6 days from the day I asked the tech till I got these dust covers....was kinda surprised to get them.
Also this card comes with a 5 year warranty....for a few extra bucks you can increase it to 10 Years..... which I did. Never knew you could up the warranty.
Yes EVGA cards always came with port covers, including the PCI-Express connector cover and you could always upgrade the warranty.

Nvidia are the slobs that don`t include any port covers at all, and you`d think they definitely would

Very nice @doorules. Welcome to the ultrawide club! That Alienware was not released before I got my Asus ROG. No going back from here...
