@polo Is you H115i pump speed on max/extreme? Do you find the extra pump speed provides any better cooling? The Corsair coolers/pumps tend to make a humming noise in extreme mode/maximum rpm...

I`ve never seen any difference with mine, even when gaming, so I leave it on balanced all the time.

It`s all about room temps. I leave my AC in the window all winter or if it`s nice and cold I just open the window

It's all about removing the heat as efficiently as possible, not about how fast you circulate the cooling fluid. Increase the radiator and radiator cooling capabilities, and your results will improve.

If I remember correctly JaysTwoCents did an experiment on this basic thermodynamics and concluded that the fluid temps will always balance out very quickly.

Kol I always run the H150i's pump in performance mode. The extra pump speed helps to reduce the peaks of temperature spikes by 1-4°C, but the results all dependents on the level of OC, room temperature and fan curve. I don't have any loud humming pump noises with the cooler. Just note that I have replaced the three stock ML120 fans with six ML120 Pro fans.
