Hi,
If that is the available cables you have that should work your example I didn't know
Possibly you can take a picture of the cables or power supply connection ports you have available to use.

Hi,
Yeah as long as your example adapter is actually a female instead a male fitting so it fits into your existing gpu power cable should work fine.
Just wanted to let you all know that I have the video card and ram installed and it is working so well! Going to wait on the SSD until I have the time to do all the work to get stuff over to it.
I really appreciate all of the help you all have been. Thank you for the time and advice!
Excellent news.
If you did buy the Samsung SSD they have free migration software on their website to clone your HDD to SSD.
I've had very good success with it.
Enjoy your "New" machine.
Oh thanks! That would be super useful. I've not been super excited about having to reinstall Windows and everything on a new drive. I'll take a look at that, thanks!
Just checking, but it would be the Data Migration software on this page, correct?
SSD Tools Software | Download | Samsung V-NAND SSD | Samsung Semiconductor Global Website
Awesome! I will read up on it!
I am very excited to not have to start from scratch and just be able to transfer everything over. You rock!
You can also look at Macrium to clone (free version)
https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree
They have directions in their knowledge base.

Thank you for that link as well. I looked the Samsung one and my SSD, the 860 Evo, is not listed as one of the drives that program works for. Should I go with the Macrium one then?
