    Sounds spot on to me. I find in room temp pretty much all CPU's I have had idle at around 30c give or take. If you have a nice cold room it will be a bit lower. Talking UK temps here.
    I agree the biggest gains are to be made under load, I pretty much saw the same temp drop as you under load. A big reduction which made me very happy that I did it.

    I'm very happy with the result also Paul. Not breaking 57C under load at 5Ghz is amazing!

    Has anybody seen these EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme? It's like a thermal interface alternative to thermal paste and claims run cooler than the best thermal pastes. If EKWB are selling them they must be good?
