    Just came across this,

    B-Die Finder

    May help some when looking for RAM.

    Only for few makes, no Kingston for instance and mine is b-die:

    Hi,
    I did notice none for 4gb sticks only 8gb
    I used to have 2666 in 4x4gb sticks which were samsung in corsair dominator ver.4.23 in C16 old x99 quad channels

    Have some newer CD 2666 C15 4x4gb which are ver. 3.21 Micron crap I've been told no better than hynix crap I really poked the pooch buying this junk :/

    Using dual channel might be
    Might also be okay on x299 I really haven't explored it too much on my 3200C16 which is hynix where as my 3200C14 samsung works on x99
    Hynix and micron hate x99 or at least my x99 is all I know for sure hynix won't even post and the second rma set one stick drops off same as the other 2666C15 set did.
