Alright, I will contact them tomorrow. Thanks for the replies, Hopefully, they do have a power supply that can run on the pc.
I'm actually looking them up stick around i might be able to point you into the right direction

Ok after searching there is no upgrade for that PSU your best bet is to transfer the components over

the GTX 1050 needs 300w to run your practically will kill your system trying to use it

Best bet is to either transfer the parts over or return it or get a GTX1030

Contacted HP and they told me to contact the sales team for a compatible power suppy, Gave me a list of compatible video cards, Told me that the computer can only have 320 watt power supply because of the motherboard.

I don't know why they suggested me to find a compatible power supply even tho i have the best one for the computer.

Well, I'm going to tell my father about it and see if he can come up with something, If not then i'll get another PC.

I love my old pc but the processor sucks, I got that computer because the processor was very good and i thought i could change the power supply.

HP and Dell at one time used oddball connections that would prevent you from replacing the PSU with a standard PSU.

I'm not sure if they still do that. Maybe not. You should check on that before deciding on any new PC, so you don't get in this jam again.

But the best way to avoid the issue in the future is to use industry-standard parts rather than HP or Dell proprietary stuff.

The best idea for an aging computer is usually to start over from the ground up to stay reasonably close to newer technology. You don't have to be on the cutting edge---$500 will go a long way if you shop right.

The thing is, I wanted a new processor,Motherboard,Ram. But turns out buying an entire PC is cheaper.

I hope that there is a converter somewhere i can have for my power supply so i can use that on the 800 G1 computer, If not then i guess i'm stuck with my old one for now.

The 800 GI has a very strong processor: Intel i-7 4790.

You might at least price a new motherboard and power supply, keeping the existing RAM and CPU. Compare that amount to what you'd pay for a totally different PC.

The HP case might be weird and non-standard as well. I don't know.

But that's still a stout CPU, even by current standards.

For what you paid it's possible to build off of used parts from ebay i am selling a 6700k on ebay with a board and cooler for under$400.00 i am sure you can find a deal from that 4th gen intel that could be even cheaper

My post is an example not trying to sell you anything before someone thinks i am sales pitching lol

Just an example try looking for parts on ebay then go from there

I looked and I found a power adapter cable, I'm sure it'll work.

I'll let you know if it does. :)

It works! Even with a 320 power supply, I put that bad boy in and so far it's working.
