Need recommendation for a new video card

    Hi friends -

    I have a Asus Radeon HD 7700, 2GB:

    Code:
    https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121642
What do you think the next one should be, not leaving me with bare pockets?
The card is just fine but my kids see it lagging in XCOM2 on medium settings and on graphic rendering.

Just need a more modern card with a bit more pep.

    Thanks!

How much do you wanna spend ?

And do you want to continue using a radeon card or switch to an invidia card ?

Please give us the specs of the system you want a new card for.

can't go wrong with a GTX 1060 6GB or a plain GTX 1080 that would give you at least another 2-3 years

I like both AMD and Nvidia. No rush, it's for an HP tower, PS is about 600W.
Like to spend no more than $150 USD for a 4GB card. Just thinking about it.

Prices are high right now, anyway.

With that budget, I'd look at the AMD RX 550/560.

Nothing wrong with my Gigabyte Rx 460, over 2 years old now.
