    Self Help PC Troubleshooting Guides

Hello, I'm brand new to your website. This is my first post here.

I'm looking for some self help guides / tutorials for PC troubleshooting - new Custom Desktop Builds.

    1) Such as, dead Desktop Computer, no fans, no lights, no nothing....dead!

    2) Blank Monitor, but fans spin.

    3) Blank Monitor, suck in boot loop.

Don't like reading long drawn out explanations; I like tutorials which get right to the point.

Would prefer, by the numbers type format.

    Step 1: Swap PSU
    Step 2: Swap Monitor
Step 3: R&R all Cable connections, make sure you haven't plugged the 8 pin power cable in backwards.

Are there any PC troubleshooting guides like this on your website. Not sure, how to look them up here.

Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks !

It's difficult to have this before an issue arises. Mainly, because the steps will vary each time, depending on what the issue is, what setup you are dealing with, etc. Too many variables.

No one system in particular. But, to narrow it down. It would only be Intel 6th, 7th, and 8th Generation, or AMD socket AM4 Rigs, brand new builds running Windows 10. Just need a troubleshooting guide which covers most of the steps taken, let's say, for the ten most common failures in a brand new build, software and hardware related. A checklist showing what steps to take based on the most common symptoms. Such as, new build which will not POST is completely dead, or will POST but has no video output, with spinning fans, or no spinning fans. I realize there may be a hundred different scenarios. Just looking for the most common failures in only brand new builds. Thank you for your reply.
