Future Upgrades and Water Cooling Plans

ayyy whats up gents? long time, no post lol. so with the upcoming 10nm cpus coming from Intel next year, i am planning some upgrades for my PC. specifically, CPU, mobo, case, and cooling. for the case, im shooting for the corsair 500D. CPU and mobo TBD, and for cooling, i'm planning on the EK Fluid gaming 360G kit with red tubing and an either an extra 120mm or 240mm rad in the loop. i can't decide.

my plans right now are to buy the case next month then possibly wait on the cooling components until the new sockets are here to confirm compatibility. these fluid gaming kits are all aluminium parts and can only be used with themselves. with Intel's new i7 flag ship CPU and a 1080ti, do u guys think that one 360mm rad in front is enough? or should I go with a 240mm rad on top and the 360mm rad in front? the other option was the 360mm rad in front and a 120mm rad in the rear and keep the top open for 3 120mm fans. Obviously, either the 240mm or 120mm rad will be after the CPU in the loop and before the GPU. After the GPU in the loop will be the pump and then 360mm rad.

so what would provide the best cooling for you water cooling geniuses? single 360 in front, 360 with 240 on top, or 360 with 120 in the rear?

Obviously i plan on overclocking the CPU as much as possible and deliding it (if intel hasn't learned about their sh*tty thermal paste IHS problem). The GPU is already overclocked to 2025MHz on the core with FTW3 bios. i plan on keeping this OC but adding voltage to it. The GPU cooler will have to be dremmeled a little bit to fit my card, but its easy to do and there are directions online.

well after typing all that, im just gonna say screw it and go with the 360 + 240 rad combo. seems like thats what most people go for anyway.

Hey Noober, hope you're doing well. Not spoke in ages!

Hey! Yeah, just been busy, I'm still debating these upgrades. I'm looking to be buying a car next year, so I'm trying to save for that. I may be just getting the fluid kit, and case and lights.

The fluid kit does not mix metals. It's all aluminum down to the pump internals.

Doubt the 280-360p = performance kit is much more $$ and it's copper based... much better pump
gpu blocks wise there are e few universal copper around cpu also :)

I was searching around for a copper kit and they will end up costing 2x as much mostly because they don't come with the GPU block.

I also tried to price out my own parts, again, same story. Almost 2-3x more.
