The Sandy Bridge was the last great cpu that Intel did that to.
Maybe a few X chips, but I`m not positive on that, but the Sandy`s were soldered.

Not bad is it at least memory isn't needed to purchase that stuff is pretty crazy priced but again at least Z systems really only need two sticks cost is cut in half :)
